Tenuta San Quirico
Known as the little brother of the great Barolo due to its lower content in alcohol and for the more gentle and velvety features. Barbaresco takes its name after the small village near the town of Alba, on the river Tanaro, where this wine is made. This classic high standard Italian wine has a limited production and is ideally served with roast meats and game dishes. The wine is aged for several years in oak casks of Slavonic origin, and has a garnet red colour with a shade of orange. An aroma of violets together with a generous and pleasing taste make of this wine a unique experience. Better served after decanting and long breathing.
