Langhe DOC Chardonnay
This Chardonnay grown in the Piedmont Langhe region, is a soft straw-coloured wine, with a delicate and fresh bouquet coupled with a unique aroma of white flowers with a taste that denotes freshness and acidity. It is a perfect companion to all appetizers, hors d'oeuvres and may be served as an excellent aperitif.
Vine variety: 100% Chardonnay grown within the provinces of Cuneo.
Soil: clayey and calcareous.
Harvest: first ten days of September
Yield per hectare: 10 tons of grapes equal to 70 hectoliters of wine.
Winemaking process: gentle pressing of grapes and later fermentation in absence of skin at controlled temperature.
Evolution/Ageing: in stainless steel vats, subsequent short period in bottle before selling.
Technical features: Alcohol 13% by volume.
Drinking temperature: 8-12 degrees centigrade.
Best served with: : hors d'oeuvres, White meats, fish.
